One of my friends and I tried ranked play for the first time last night. For some reason the team balance for the placement matches is absolutely TERRIBLE. Like, way worse than the free play matchmaking.
My friend and I aren't very good, but normally we win about 50% of the time in free play. In ranked, however, we lost all 7 of the placement matches that we played. Every match we would get paired with a team of people around level 30 with no other groups, up against 4 stacks with people who had prestiged. Every time we got our faces smashed in. And every single time we got the gold medals for our team with pathetically low scores.
Can anyone explain WHY the ranked matchmaking is so fucking broken. Like, it just seemed like the game was going out of its way to put us at a disadvantage every single time.
