>Using Denuvo

FUCK
>>
>>344099274
Why would you care?
It is obviously the same shit as Limbo.
Artsy Farts bullshit made entirely to be pretentious and deliberately not shown off to elude people to the game being better than it is.
Have you played or witnessed Limbo? Than you got the gist of Inside.
watch a LP of it. You will get the exact same experience.
>>
That's really funny because this is definitely a game to pirate, and they fucking know it. It's just long enough to get around Steam refunds but barely...I think it's going to piss a lot of people off.
>>
>>344099274
>consolefag who doesn't know what denuvo thinks it means PC gamers can't have it

oh boy my favorite
>>
>>344099687
Its much more than Limbo. It makes limbo obsolete. And who fucking cares if its the same.
>>
>>344100091
>Its much more than Limbo.
Sure it is
>It makes limbo obsolete
only because it is new.
>who fucking cares if its the same.
So it is just limbo with color.

You can't even explain why it is different because it fucking isn't
>>
never heard about this game until people started shilling it today
>>
>>344099687
>watch a LP of it. You will get the exact same experience
HEY THIS IS ZOMBIEFAGGOT69 HAHA JUST FINISHED FUCKING MY CAT SO LET'S DO THIS *fart noise* WOAAAH THIS GAME IS SUPER CREEPY DON'T FORGET TO LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE

Yeah it's pretty much the same though. I mean it's technically better in a few ways and it doesn't run out of steam before the end like Limbo does but it's a 3 hour series of weird and/or dangerous things happening to you while you do simple puzzles, and it doesn't form a coherent plot because everything is purposefully vague. Seeing as how $20 is a fortune to most Steam users, I would avoid it. I really don't see how this took 6 years to make.
>>
>>344100352
There are plenty of LPs that don't speak when they play.
Even then. There is a mute function.
>>
>>344099274
>Another indie game with an unclear ending and a "THE CHARACTER IN THE GAME IS BEING CONTROLLED BY YOU" twist

Nope.
>>
>>344099274
Yea those fucking greedy devs expecting us PC gamers to pay for games, like how fucking jewish can they be?
>>
>>344100332
Its been out for a week on Xbone, but this is /v/ and almost nobody actually has an Xbone. I've seen like two threads about it since it came out and they both died after one or two posts, but since it comes out on Steam tomorrow the fedora master race will get their hands on it and there might be more discussion. This is yet another indie game that's just critic-bait; it's short and simple but people can pretend it's "deep" when it really isn't.

Real talk for a second. If I buy a product legitimately and it has Denuvo, how does it affect me?
>>
>>344100741
I only ever played the demo for Limbo on the 360, but it seemed pretty cool

I probably won't play this one until the next Steam sale, but it might be cool too
>>
>>344099274
I've never bought an indie game, i've never even pirated an indie game.
They all look like trash that could run on a Gameboy.
>>
>>344100741
Limbo was okay. It certainly was no Terraria, La Mulana, Shovel Knight, or even Hyper Light Drifter.
>>
>>344100717
Indie games are not worth money.
They are the shovelware of this generation.
For every decent indie game like Hotline Miami, you get 10k shitty walking simulators like Gone Home.

The indie market is a fucking joke.
>>
>>344100801
Hope you don't install it on an SSD
>>
>>344101029
>>344100942
Limbo is a decent experience for $5 or less. This game is exactly the same.
>>
>>344099274
The good thing about indie games is that almost all of them can be completed in 2 hours, so I can play the game, finish it, and refund it.

Not saying that i'm going to play this since there's no such thing as a good indie game.
>>
I have played this on Xbox One and did the alternate ending. That font is a lie.

LIMBO DEVS LIKE MONEY.png
28 KB, 719x613
Can you tell they make games for money only?
>>
>>344101193
Why?
>>
>>344102256
because they didn't make it exclusive?

most developers make games for money only, anon
>>
>>344102256
Oh, that's what they spent the years after Limbo doing.
>>
>>344102357
>because they didn't make it exclusive?
Because they milked the fuck out of it by porting it gradually to everything in creation when they ran out of money from past versions.
>>
>>344102256
You got it backwards anon.

Devs make their games exclusive because they're paid money to do so
>>
>>344102498
so yes, only worded differently
>>
>>344102256
How dare those dirty fucking game devs, making games as a job
>>
>>344102506
They got the timed exclusive money from MS for the 360 ver bro
>>
>>344102582
Yes, they pollute my hobby with their liquid fecal matter rather than letting people who actually like making games make them
>>
>>344102731
how in the fucking world does porting to game to every platform affect you in any way you overreacting manchild
>>
>>344102731
Sure is a shame you're forced to buy and play games you don't like and no one is allowed to make games as passion projects in this dystopian nightmare future
>>
>>344102795
People buy their game. This sends money to demonic developers rather than good ones. There is a finite amount of money to spend on video games. Their game assures good games don't get it.
>>
>>344099274

A indie game using Denuvo?

I wonder how much it costs to license Denuvo.

I doubt the indie game will sell that well to make any money.
>>
>>344100352
Watch a Long Play, they don't talk.
>>
>>344099772
i'm not going to buy it so i think i'm safe
unless it ends up in a humble bundle three years from now
>>
>>344102149
honestly this looks quite bad, he just walks to the right, some scripted shit happens and you have BamHam Asylum Scarecrow 2D stealth sections a little, except it seems even easier in Inside

so he was found and he's running from them, and there seems to be no danger involved, dogs go after the kid and he jumps down a cliff, it's screaming press right on the dpad to win

this game looks like some shitty mechanics from AAA games, such as shallow stealth, scripted events, another one of those games that is meaningless but that retards will praise because it's art, just as Limbo was

you're giving this thing a little too much credit if you think people are dying to play it but cannot because of denuvo
>>
>>344099274

Shit, I didn't realize. Well, I guess they didn't need that additional sale.
>>
This game was fun, I like the fact that they don't hold your hand and that ads to how great figuiring out stuff feels
>>
>>344102149

>demonic developers
Also the fact that someone buying a game is probably going to prevent a game you like from getting made is one of the most ridiculous, roundabout ways of saying "I don't want people to buy this game out of spite" I've ever heard
>>
>>344100270
No its not about being new. If Inside came out first then Limbo you would be able to critic that they went backwards. And thats not even that it Limbo with colour.

Also if I looked at your library I would be able to tear it apart with pointing out the number of same games you have played
>>
>>344103568
>someone buying a game is probably going to prevent a game you like from getting made is one of the most ridiculous, roundabout ways of saying "I don't want people to buy this game out of spite" I've ever heard
That's exactly how the industry works though. Someone is forced to choose how to spend their consumer dollars on video games and since the average person has shit taste they will buy shit games rather than good ones.
>>
>>344099274
>shitty indie game slash jewish propaganda

>>
>>344101193

This was debunked a long time ago. Not to say any game with Denuvo is even worth playing to begin with. Most of them are ubisoft games aren't they?
>>
>>344104024
As far as I was aware there was no hype surrounding this
>>
I'm so fucking tired of this indie games that don't explain you the ending.
It's so frustrating I rather watch a LP of the game. Wich is exactly what I did with inside.

What are you talking about, my good pal friend? This game, Playdead's INSIDE, has critical acclaim from many of your favorite publications like Giant Bomb and Kotaku! I have all the feels from it and you'll be a "sad frog" if you don't play it as well!

Inside is a legit good game. Not worth 20$, but honestly I can't think of one thing this game does wrong.
>>
>>344105516
I liked it. I think a couple of the chapters in the 20s were tedious, but it's been too long for me to remember which ones. I think the visual style began to wear on me after a while.

>>344107784
There's no such thing as an indie game worth money.

The kind of turds there's among indie games are the games that 10 years ago were on flash game websites for free.

The only game worth supporting of the last 5 years has been The Witcher 3.

This industry can't crash soon enough so it gets cleansed of all this cancer.

Piracy died when videogames started being so generic, boring, predictable, and samey that they weren't even worth pirating.

I haven't pirated a game in the last 5 years because modern videogames are just not good.

I actually had a lot of fun with the combat, dismembering was really satisfying, as it was stabbing someone in the ground after using not-Force push.

It's a perfect combination of having nice elements, without cutting off in others.
Other RPGs always lack in some regard, like graphics, story, combat, or even, ironically, RPG elements.

TW3 is a perfect balance of all of that, not to mention is one of the few games where the DLCs are worth buying and are actual expansions, not just a bunch of fucking oufits.
