Fuck, there's a game coming out soon that looks almost identical to God Hand, so much so that I think they were heavily inspired by it. It has customizable movesets and PVP, I'm cautiously optimistic about it and unfortunately the name escapes me at the moment

You might look into Urban Reign. It doesn't compare favorably to Godhand, but it's still one of the best brawlers out there and it has some fairly unique mechanics.
