You NEED to have a trapper and a medic in every team or else it's impossible to beat the monster. That's two slots of your team taken by the only healer anyone uses and a single trapper character. If you just go with a healer and not a trapper the most will just run after a fight and the game turns into an even longer walking simulator. If you go with a trapper instead of a healer the monster kills you and you have to walk back towards the area you think the monster is in, making it an even longer walking simulator. Evolve in a nuttshell is a fucking walking simulator with one or two battles, by design the game is shit, there's no hunting, no tracking the monster's trail through wooded areas, no waiting in darkness or brush to try and shake hunters, it' just walk after the monster for 20 minutes, have one fight along the way, and then a big fight at the end, if you make it that far.
Played the game on a friends console and its just the monster being a Min/max fag and running away from the group all the time to hit level 3 and decimate the enemy because it runs a fuck ton faster then you.

They should've made it more like Dead by Daylight where people kind of need to split up and the monster might be able to do something early. There's literally no point for the monster to ever try and fight before its max level because it doesn't stand a chance against all 5 at once.

Oh boy, Evolve is free now. I can play a game where only one monster is selected, where only one of the many healers are selected and only one of the many trappers are selected. I can then proceed to walk through a jungle for the full duration of the game and either instantly kill the creature or lose.
This game was designed by fucking idiots who thought it was thrilling to walk around a small box world chasing after bird signals. There's no fucking strategy involved and the EIGHTY PERCENT FUCKING WIN RATE for the fucking monster is proof.
