Skyrim is good though you've probably played it. I really enjoyed Dragons Dogma, Kingdoms of Amalur was surprisingly a ton of fun and had a lot of content.

Use the PSN store to get some Final Fantasy Games. Maybe FF7/8/9. FFX HD is a thing too. PSN store also has Persona 3 and Persona 4.
If you're one of the few people who has never played MGS, bringing with you the MGS Legacy Collection, play it (you need to redeem/download MGS1 so if you won't have internet do that beforehand). 5 great games, heavy on story and each of them takes a good long time to complete. Doesn't burn you out imo so you can keep going through them, especially since each game introduces new mechanics.
1 -> 2 -> 3 -> Peace Walker -> 4
I hear Ni No Kuni is good.
FFXIII is entertaining despite the hate.
