I would recommend if you can get with a discount, I've played for 80 hours solo and easily got a lot of value from this game
the computer ai is actually pretty good, and there is a story too (not necessarily a good one, but still), so it does feel like a complete solo game

Played the entire game solo and then tried out multiplayer after the fact. There's not a huge difference but the NPC characters are smarter than most players.

For some of the timed missions where they give you like 5-7 minutes to finish... you'd want to use the gauntlet and make sure to do perfect criticals. Sickle takes too long.
