The atmosphere is great, the setting is pretty unique and the story is p good.
The gameplay was fun, especially compared to modern games *coughcoughInfinite*, even if it did dumb down System Shock.
Also both Big Daddies and Little Sisters are really iconic designs.

There's nothing "deep" about Bioshock. It's not some innovative and thought provoking story. It's simply a well told one with a good twist.

Only thing deep about it is Rapture itself.
