I don't think there's a single memorable character theme in Xrd. The new characters' songs are especially forgettable.

I'd argue Millia, May, and Potemkin's themes are all pretty memorable. That said, I know what you mean by "forgettable." Dunno if Daisuke did any of the music for BlazBlue, but the themes for BB characters are a lot more distinct than the music we're getting in GG. GG doesn't have a ton of variation for its characters, like harpsichords for Ky and the like.

Diva of Despair is literally the only song in Xrd I think is legitimately great, the rest are really forgettable.

Daisuke did all the themes prior to chronophantasma, where they got a new guy to remix all the old songs.
Xrd felt like he was kind of phoning it in, and while I'm no expert on the subject, something about the instrumentation feels off. A lot of the songs sound kinda samey too, I think.
I do like Ky (I am sick and tired of Holy Orders at this point), Bedman, and Elphelts themes
I'm just glad Xrd makes old character themes unlockable.
Would be nice if you could change the default song for a character to their legacy theme, though.

Vocal tracks are distracting for many players, it's obvious why they don't have them as battle themes even if some can handle it without issue.
