How do you hold the mouse?
Fingertip
Most new mices make doing this hell with all of the buttons you have to press

Fingertip, mostly. But that claw grip looks terribly uncomfortable. Even when I am to claw grip my mouse, I extend my fingertips to the tip of the buttons.
I've got a worse problem, though. I hold my mouse on a diagonal angle with the cord extending towards the NW corner of my mousepad. It makes aiming specifically horizontal or vertical in an FPS game a pain in the ass, but I can't stop it. To hold the mouse straight-up-and-down requires a conscious effort for me to cock my hand to the right, which at this point feels unnatural.

Like this but fingers flat and tips pretty much at the end

Fingertip for things like RTS or web browsing, palm or palm/claw hybrid for FPS.

Like this guy most of the time but I get into a bit of a claw during times when I'm clicking a lot. Nothing quite like the OP picture though.
I miss my G400

They use them for every computer at my work. When mine dies, I'll swap it for one of those.
Mix of fingers and palm, it depends more on what I'm doing though.
