The game now panders to newcomers so you can blast through content really fast and you will get some really good wellfare gear that will help you blast through the previously challenging raids and such with ease. Not just with the gear, but they made sure to nerf the battles themselves to hell and back and give you echoboosts right off the bat.

Good for raid progression. It's not going to turn a wipe into a clear, but it'll let you hang around for another 30 seconds or so and get a good look at the phase you're wiping in.
Experience is the most valuable asset. Especially on fights like a8s where a wipe is throwing 10 minutes of work away and another 10 minutes to get back to the point you wiped at.
