Eventually you hit a point where you understand the limitations of the systems, a lot of things you WANT to do in those systems aren't actually possible, or underwhelming, if not grossly overpowered and start to suck a lot of fun out of the game and you're just grinding levels to grind levels.
Then you hit level cap, there is fuck all left to do.

Ni no Kuni wasn't even designed for 5 year olds. That's why it was o stupid. The story had some really dark moments that would impact grown ups.
