Lots of enjoyable interaction between the cast, cheesy in the right kind of way, actually advanced the plot to the point where sf3 can take place now (4 failed at this so badly) and gave a few characters some sweet moments. Just the general direction of it was good, Urien's reveal was fantastic

She was a charge character with teleport, air spiral arrow, a 360 SPD and many changed normals including a 2 hit overhead.
Guile seemed pretty nonchalant about Charlie being back from the dead, maybe all those endings were canon and Guile is just used to Charlie dying and coming back.

In terms of actually watching/playing it it's just MK 9's story without QTEs.
In terms of writing MK tries to be semi-serious and have a consistent plot whereas SF V's plot is pretty much that of a Saturday morning cartoon.
I'm not complaining either way. I think MK 9 and SF V both have plots that fit their games.

It's different. The formatting isn't the same and overall it is a much goofier tone meant to be a silly romp more than a real story. It's like if you extended an arcade mode story out so that the points link together better

Kens kid could replace him and have his moveset
Chuns could have her moveset and so on.
Nobody wants to lose their main but if you make new characters with the same moves nobody would complain, if they also threw in some totally new guy with some ridiculous moveset that would have seen out of place before would suddenly seem like it would fit in the world with all the new characters.Not that i really want to replace anybody because they are too iconic and i have grown attached to them but it would be the only resonable way to make a new generation
