The Lost Children arc I can understand. Burning children and malformed children / moth / elf foetuses does not make good television.
But the black swordsman arc was kinda integral to the introduction of the behlit's, Apostles, and the God Hand.
Also the I hated the clanging sounds they used for the sword. Makes it sound that it's hollow.

No. It doesn't. CGI is literally the cheapest animation technique you can use. It's why shit like RWBY looks like ass, because they use it on that. You need quality artists to make CGI look good, but that costs a lot more. It's why you only see it in Hollywood films and even then it's poor in many cases.

There honestly isn't that many side characters. The only difficult ones are the Apostles who follow Griffiths. The hardest one to remember is the Robin Hood Archer guy and the Autistic Medium Girl. Though girls are usually easier to remember because doujins and porn. I can just about remember them all.

I feel it doesn't fit Berserk at all because while guts does go around killing masses of enemies those are never the most memorable moments in the story. Also he's not just some super strong guy swinging his sword around at random, he only does the things he does because of his unmatched skill. It just doesn't sit right with me to have a Berserk game be a mindless button masher with the main gameplay focus being on the most boring fights in the series.

Isidro is essentially a replacement for Rickert. That's what I've come to understand. Azan replaces Pippin. Serpico replaces... I dunno, Corkus? Farnesse replaces Jeudeau. Isidro is suppose to be semi-serious, Puck was the comic relief + dues ex machina, but Schrieke is now the dues ex machina.
