ITT: Games with too much content

I liked how in this game you can change your sprite so if you married a boy it would look like a gay marriage. but the reality is you turned into a reverse trap
>>343857987
>too much content
>can't fuck the dragon
>can't waifu best girl
Back the fuck off!?!
>>343857987
I feel your pain
I can only think of two.
This is one.
>>343862583
And the other.
I'm not sure if it's the fact I'm on hard or that I'm using gloves this time around, but I don't remember the game being this difficult. Chasing the chipsqueak thing and the high orcs in the valley 3/4 hit me after an eggbowl buff. Shit's actually getting me to make new armor and weapons.

Most JRPGs, no? I mean what Dragon Quest actually has enough internal gameplay variation to justify the number of battles you fight?
And Muramasa. Wide goddamn acres of the same shit over again.

>tfw even if we could fuck the dragon she'd just turn into a regular generic-ass human being for it
EVERY TIME
>>343861220
At least you got to see the dragon in human form, I gave up getting arc 3 to trigger after trying for hours.
Also holy shit, how did they OK that Ember in the cover, fuck.
'Sup, bitch. Just wanted to remind you that you still have 5 Challenge Maps to go, plus all the special challenge missions. Oh, and you also still need to get everyone to max level. Did I mention we raised the level cap again?

Is "too much content" really a thing, I haven't played any of these games.
>>343863948
It's not meant as a negative, but yes. RF4 is absurdly long and filled with stuff to see and do.
Any Disgaea game
>>343864357
grind is not content
>>343863948
When you've been playing for 20 hours and the next 20 hours will be basically the same. You can quit and never see the ending or you can repeat repeat repeat
>>343864456
>>343864456
You only do boring grind if you're stupid. The whole catch of Disgaea is knowing how grind smart and the game is filled with stuff to do if you do it correctly.
>>343864560
I think I understand all those bullies growing up
when I see that guy I just want to fucking punch him I can't really explain it
>>343864357
is there a human being who levelled all items up to max?
>>343857987
I swear I put over 100 hours into this and I still didn't fully beat it.
I mean I got the credits to play like twice, so I guess that's the game giving me the "go ahead" to be done with it, but shit, there's so much stuff.
>>343864636
wow thanks, I didn't know how to convince that naysayer honestly. I was right.

Final Fantasy TA2. Once the game gets going it throws so much shit at you that you have basically no idea what to work on first. While you're working on the dozens of different quests that all become available simultaneously (which are divided into several different categories that each serve a different purpose), managing your guild, and trying to progress through the main story, you've also got to be constantly upgrading your team, recruiting new members, switching their jobs and managing their abilities, and upgrading their equipment, but also making sure that they learn all available abilities from their current equipment before you upgrade.
It's a fun game but it really suffers from what I'd call content overload. There's just so much to keep track of that new players will be totally overwhelmed.

I came here to post this.
>>343864764
>over 100
try 300 if you're going for max skills and crops
closer to 400/500 if you're going for 100%
>>343865139
The fact that there may never be a Run Factory 5 is fucking terrible. The devs knew damn well how to give you your money's worth.
>>343864868
This. Normaly when you play an SRPG you pick a set of builds o beat the game with. In that game you max out your builds and then try out everything else in the meantime before the next tier of gear/skills turns up.

On one hand I'm grateful because it almost made me flunk out of college
On the other hand, I've been hankering for a new waifu/farm/rpg simulator
