To be fair, that's a pretty good number for a game without the monumental appeal to casuals, a long history to keep people hyped on the series, nowhere near the marketing and lacks the huge modding community to keep it alive with thousands upon thousands of mods.

OP, my polish girlfriend just convinced me to buy this game, and holy shit, I'm addicted, just made an attempt at the werewolf of wild heart quest, and when that fucker started regenerating health, I fell in love.
Enemy complexity in this game is so satisfying, the fact that you actually have to prep for fights, and that spamming attacks and reloading over and over just doesn't work feels amazing.
First time I've played a witcher game, set on Blood and broken bones difficulty and /v/, it feels like I'm playing vidya for the first time.
Skyrim appeals to the greatest common denominator, I've pirated it, purchased it and played it, very simply, it was autism and mods that kept me attentive, but this, this witcher game is amazing.
