I installed rxtools during the pirating rush early this year but have been meaning to swap to whatever the current best CFW is, however the entire process is such a blur to me because I followed a guide and barely understood anything I don't know how to make the swap anymore.
I heard it is as simple as following a guide after a certain step and doesn't take very long, but jumping onto the steps I just find myself lost.
I sort of forgot the entire process of exactly WHAT I did to my 3ds after I downgraded it and if it means I can truly skip all those steps, don't I need to get rid of my emunand and everything now? So I cracked my 3DS when cracking it was BRAND new during the /hbg/ explosion, and I'm interested in changing CFW, since I'm using RX Tools with Pasta.
Right now my 3DS boots to the MenuHax loader screen which boots to a selector of Homebrew Menu or RX Tools which boots to RX Tools which boots to the emuNand.
I want to just boot straight from MenuHax to the CFW emunand, and hopefully replace my CFW with something that doesn't crash when I install DSiware.
How do I do this while saving my save data? I have a Tomodachi Life file I don't want to lose.

theres a chance a very very small chance that during the downgrade process an error can occur which can cause a soft brick and force you to update to 11.0. worst case scenario you have to hardmod that 3ds if you want to try again with hacking, but its still perfectly usable in the usual way. the only way to really fuck up with a brick that would render your device unusable is if you were to ignore or fuck up during crucial steps. the guide makes it very very clear when you are on a step that could cause a serious brick. so its pretty much user error at that point.
