The leaver bug fucking sucks. If anyone leaves the game the winners get barely any points and the losers get a full loss. And even if the winning team is the one down a guy, they get barely any points for a win.

Friend and I did this in WoW during arenas in season 2. Tanked our rating by zerging one person in 2v2, then leaving the match before the other guy could figure out wtf happened. We could only imagine their faces as they got the W. Comedic gold. Sides in orbit all day.

Our placement matches were great though, went 7-3 and a lot of times our team was communicating and the games were hard fought. Which is the fuckin worst because it rewards not being a team player. And then when you're support only getting gold in healing and sometimes obj time, you get a lower rank, which puts you in with everyone else who's shit and lost 15 games in a row to lose their high placement and then you're on a shitty team and can't get out because you're shit teams can't win. And then when you finally win a game, you realize you have to win 3 for every 1 you lose just to maintain rank.
Yeah, I'm salty as fuck, but I just don't want to play competitive because losing 3 ranks in an hour and a half sucks dick because I'm not going to win enough games in a row to get back up. I did my 10 placement matches, won 6 out of the 10. Was placed at 53.
I probably won't play anymore matches because a lot of shit is messed up in this season, to be honest the only reason I did the placement matches was to see what rank I could get and how many points I'd get for it.
To name a few issues:
>Tanks/Support players don't seem to get as many points as people who play offense heroes
(don't know how you'd properly rate a Reinhardt, though. Dmg blocked doesn't equal contribution)
>Leave penalties in general are fucked
If you disconnect accidentally you get an automatic loss, regardless of whether or not you rejoin immediately. EVERYONE else in the game gets hit with a reduction as well, even if you manage to scrap a win as a 5v6 you get nothing, if you're about to win and someone leaves right before the end, you get nothing.
