I remember after the N64 they told me they weren't going to buy me games anymore so anything I wanted I had to buy myself. I was about 15 when I saved up the money to get my gamecube, a copy of Melee, and PSO. I came home with a B on my report card and got banned from vidya during the week and could only play on weekends, and even then only for two hours a day. I was also really heavy in the scouts, so I got used to not playing as much and spent a lot of time outside.
I got my Eagle, graduated high school early, and now I'm in med school, so whatever, joke's on me I guess
