Anyways, my favorites are Brazil, Ottoman Empire and Germany.
Maya or Inca. They are the most versatile civs in the game.
After going hard on a couple civ 5 binges I have some gripes about the game

I really, really like Babylon because an early scientist is a huge plus.

I played a lot of net games with my cousin. It's pretty fun because he's really detail oriented and has good micro, but not a great sense of overall strategy so I usually wind up winning pretty handily in mid-late game.

I think the stigma is that it's older and the tutorials are awful. I was an eu3 player for years, I still think it's better than 4, and I cannot understand V2 for the life of me. Conversely CK2 was easier for me to pick up and I lvoe that, but that's like a shallow grand strategy game meets RPG. Not to say it's easier, it's jsut something I synced up with better.

Raging barbs spread faster and spawn faster. They're also way more aggressive, but that might just be because they have constant numbers so they think they have an advantage.
Late in the game, revolts can spawn well equipped barbs and they spread just as fast. If you're occupied at the time then it goes to shit quick.
