Main theme is Somnus, it's used in every single demo, is used in almost every single ATR, it was used at the start of the Uncovered event when Sakaguchi came on stage, it was even used in the ATR from just a few days ago, it has leitmotifs all throughout the game too like in the Dawn trailer track. It was on hold all the way until July 2012 when it then and only then started full development as XV, got 200 member + dev team, budget, new engine and was actually rebooted as XV.
And the release date was never once pushed back because they only ever first gave a date for it this year, which is still September 30th.

And people are more interested in the rumors of a new Dark Souls or Red Dead 3 than this game actually releasing. The most obvious evidence of this is SquareEnix rushing to make a FFVII remake. As a long time Final Fantasy fan who has played all main entries (excluding MMOs) and tons of spin-offs and bought all of them at full price some even a couple of times, I have absolutely no interest in this abomination whatsoever. It made sense in other FF games because in other FF games you picked up a bunch of dudes from a bunch of different locations in the game world with different styles of clothing and occupations. No one chides Rydia for not looking like Cecil because she is neither a soldier nor a resident of Baron. Squall, Quistis, Zell, and Irvine all look different but that's only because because they're in plain clothes. In uniform everyone is dressed the same because they're in the same organization. In XV it's different because unlike most other games the crew are all in the same court and so they have similar wear to the one they serve. But while they all wear the same colors their style of uniform is different. Like how Ignis is the more refined of the group so he's in more professional looking clothing while Gladio is in more loose fitting clothing since he's the brawler. There's nothing wrong with that. The only thing that's the same about their outfits are the colors.

I wasn't whining about the decision of that cast wearing what they have or looking what they are. I know the game got its own reasons to depict them like that, but this was the main cast they decided to PICK for the game. It could have been done otherwise or differently while still keeping them.
