The game just kind of sucks as a fighting game.
Movement feels clunky, jumps are sort of floaty, and the game's neutral feels funky as shit, and a lot of normals that aren't 2A feel useless outside of combos, which can be long as fuck and easy as fucking, depending on the character. On top of that, the 30FPS thing is fucking unacceptable for a fighting game and the game's netcode is god awful.
Also more than half the roster is locked behind fucking story mode, which is a pain in the ass if you just want to get the game and play with your friends.
I can appreciate it for the sheer jojo fanwank, but as a fighting game player, it leaves a lot to be desired.
OP is exaggerating though. There are far fucking shittier fighting games, because at least ASB is fucking playable and not completely broken.
