Do you still have faith?

No, but I do havePERSONALRESPONSIBILITY.
>>343666721
After W3, not really.
The story and setting will probably be pretty good but the gameplay will suck balls like always with them.

fuck off

sounds like cdpr

pretty much the worst thing you can do on /v/ is say anything bad about AMD, CDPR, Nintendo or Sony.

reminder that witcher gameplay is underrated

This. Witcher 3 was a heap of ripped-off shit from Skyrim, Dark Souls, RDR, Bamham and turned into a clusterfuck with design flaws, ruined charater portrayals and whatnot. And this is comeing from someone who loves the books and Witcher 1. Witcher 2 was already heading in the wrong direction.

mmmmh, tasty

This is what I'm worried about. Plot wise, we're probably in the clear, CDPR will give us some original and interesting stuff at the very least. Witcher 2 is something I liked over 3 due to the amount of political intrigue it had, and I feel like 2077 will go in the same direction.
The gameplay, however - holy fucking shit if they won't fuck it up, I'll be surprised. I'm hoping they'll go for something like Bethesda games or Deus Ex, since first person perspective is easier to not fuck up.
>>343668764
at least we know they're interested in improving, the witcher games and their dlc's all successively had better gameplay
>>343666721
Yeah in fact I'm having faith right now

Dettlaff is an interesting boss and most of Hearts of Stone did some interesting things, but Witcher 3's combat system in general is still a rather shitty mess of badly timed i-frames and hit detection.
The sheer fact that you have to be softly locked onto an enemy for Geralt to be able to deal significant damage to them is fucking insufferable, can't believe they based themselves on Dark Souls a bit yet failed to copy the most important thing that game does with its combat.
>>343670751
yeah, there's a clunky feel for the entire system, and naturally they can't change that core combat in an expansion
luckily for cyberpunk that shitty system will be uprooted since i imagine cp77 will be gun-based
No.
