It's the pacing I prefer in RE. REmake feels so slow to play. There's also something really charming about RE's graphics as opposed to REmake's more realistic/atmospheric visual design.

The entire first part of the game had very few zombies. There was only a LOT of them when they did appear and coupled with Nemesis, made for for a very interesting and scary game I think. At least more than RE2.
