I had to pick up two part time fucking jobs because of Denuvo. I'm still fucking mad. I come home every night smelling dogs and french fries. Walking dogs for spoiled, rich, white people from 7am to noon, then I flip burgers and drop fries until whenever Hitler (AKA my manager) lets me leave, just to pay for these shitty, fucking games that aren't even good. Before Denuvo I at least had a choice but now it's hard to think it's even worth it.

This.

Funny, the closest things to games I want to play using current Denuvo is the new Doom or the new Warhammer, both genres I don't usually play and so nothing worth buying to satisfy a mild curiosity.
If Denuvo wasn't around, and Warhammer turned out good when I pirated it, I might turn into a fan and buy it, I guess there's no chance of that happening for now, the system works!
>>
>>343620575
Sucks to be you, negro.
>>
Denuvo won't be cracked not because it's uncrackable but because denuvo devs will pay the crackers not to release the crack.

All those who have posted their half cracks never complete them as denuvo devs pay them off. The russians who were working on it said that they are awaiting a response from denuvo team, who will give them $$$.

Scene is long dead, nothing is being done for honor or e-creds of who's the best cracker. Now it just business for the scene who will take money for the bypass or money from the devs.

And I feel it is better to purchase the game rather than paying $$ to the crackers for the bypass.
>>
>>343620636
>>343620480
For me they keep seeming to release for games I don't give a shit about or games I just day 1 buy.

>cops can't charge him because he didn't steal from (you)
>you tell the cops he's still a thief and should be arrested
>they give him a warning

Disregarding everything else, I think everyone knows this is bullshit.

Denuvo is expensive. Only really big companies slap Denuvo on it to somehow increase sales (which is proven to not really work at all) and smaller companies releasing games or indies won't have Denuvo simply because it's too expensive for them to get.

>>343622825
Thats probably not going to happen though. It seems denuvo gets by on being custom tailored to the game so there won't be a one size fits all crack. Furthermore, they really put effort into imbedding bullshit levels of code into the games so it takes an order of magnitude higher to get past it all.

It's just not something that a cracker hobbyist would care to handle. It's never even been about being cracked, its about not being worth the time and energy to do it.

Also, $100000 is not a lot when it comes to game development. There is a reason why EA keeps sticking denuvo into its big releases.

This, but to be honest you hand crafted that recipe, and that clown who ate it wouldn't be able to make anything close to that. If he's going to enjoy the deliciousness of your role, copy or not, you're entitled to compensation.

Now, if he copies it, takes a bite out of it, and it's garbage so he throws it out-- or if he copies it, eats half, and it's so delicious he purchases the role.. that's another story.

>dumbfuck piratefag excuses

I'm pretty sure all Denuvo games on Origin have a demo available and they're covered by EA's 24h warranty.

The only Denuvo game that interested me was Unravel, I tried the demo and it was alright so I bought it, then played it for a few hours and realized it was pretentious artsy trash with shit gameplay and I asked for a refund (had played 5 hours and nearly finished the game), which I got.

You really have no good reasons to complain about Denuvo when a demo and a refund policy is in place.
>>

Most of these faggots have spent more money on McDonald's and other crap than what Doom would of cost them to buy.

Instead of saving their money they think they are entitled to free games and that their money is better spent on shit that they could have used the money for to buy games instead.
>>

Most games make a majority of their sales on launch day, and then exponentially dwindle thereafter, save for spikes with things like steam sales, so their logic is... sort of valid? The only thing is I don't think there's any overlap that isn't negligable between people who buy it day 1 when they can't pirate it day 1.

And I'm not sure if this applies to video games, but research suggests people who pirate music also purchase more music than those who don't pirate.

You are wrong. Denuvo is not an EA product.

> Demo
There is no demo, only the 24h warranty.
Which is... Title costs around 60$ on the internet.
Amazon for example.

In my country, it's 40$ for a physical copy
On Origin, it's 60 EUR which is around 70$.
Plus bank fee, that makes it 75$.

So I get to pay 75$ to try the title out IF it is indeed, available on Origin.
But, I do have to ask for a refund, every single time.
And I do lose the bank fee, all the time.

Even if they would let me refund 100% of the time, I would have to pay the bank fee, every time.

>>343624874
> steam refunds
Steam got worse prices than Origin, see above for that.
And, I never managed to get a refund on Steam.
Never, ever.

They are still losing the money, that's a fact. I bought every Total War after pirating it, so they lost a TW: W sale.

I have my bank account in my country's currency.
So they ask for a conversion fee. Then there is a transaction fee.
That's when I buy.
When I get it back, well, they have to move the money to me, and again, convert it.

It's bullshit, but it's not as worse as buying from Australia.
tl;dr: Refunding every time, is NOT a solution.

According to Torrentfreak, 3DM said they were taking a year off the crack scene to let the game market "breathe". Is this their admittance to bribery?

>Denuvo

I still don't get why people think this is some gamechanger.

Whole point of anti-piracy measures is to stop people from pirating the game shortly after the launch, when the game full-priced and hyped. It doesn't matter if Denuvo gets cracked 100 or 300 days after release - it still does it's job.

But if any of you think people pirate just to not pay, you are retarded. Large portion of pirates download shit to check the game out. They don't believe shills or jewtube, they want to check gameplay for themselves. Since there are hardly any demos now, pirating is the last resort. Two hours of steam refund also won't work in many cases.

In the end, people who do the above, will simply wait for the game to be on -50% or more sale. Denuvo won't boost sales by as much as the publishers want, and no amount of shilling will change it.

Best things are that companies such as Ubishit won't get to play "it's the pirate's fault" when their game will flop, and that we can get rif of "always online" drm.

TL:DR
I'm a piratefag and I also support denuvo.

A large importance to piracy for me is getting ahold of games that are old and often not available to buy, or even worse in the hands of someone I'd rather not give money to.

I've pirated a lot of games without buying them later, the only game I recently bought was Witcher 3 and that only because I wanted to play the expansions and free dlc but somehow no version worked. I've also pirated quite a few older games which won't get any physical distribution anymore and I absolutely hate steam for ripping off everyone. A new game at launch costs 60 bucks and the same price in Euros for a fucking digital copy and you can't even play without the client.
I've bought W3 along with Stardew valley, Gothic 3 and Arcanum and I can't say I regret anything.
GoG even gave me a voucher for currency differences and I'm playing all games how the fuck I want DRM free. For me this is the only acceptable alternative to shit like steam and origins. It's hard not sounding like a shill but seriously fuck your fat jew ass Gaben and I fucking told /v/ that steam is vaporware which should be avoided at any cost.

Far Cry Primal - Ubisoft game with bad performance and bugs... What a surprise.

Dragon Age Inquisition - It doesn't run that bad and all problems on the PC version are also in the console version which doesn't even have Denuvo.

JUST Cause 3 - Shitty port, also has bad performance on console.

Rise of the Tomb Raider - Shitty port, also runs bad on Xbone.

Hitman - shitty port performance has improved with patches.

Anno 2055 - Another Ubisoft game, say no more.

Batman AK - A shitty outsources port.

Homefront: The Revolution - A terrible game that has the same performance problems on console as it does on PC

Total War: Warhammer - All the Total War games run like shit.

Out of the 26 games that use Denuvo only 8 have performance issues and several of which are just shitty ports.

It's technically impossible for Denuvo not to hurt performance due to its design. The only question is how much - a smaller performance hit means weaker security. The people who made Lords of the Fallen said that it takes up to 5% on their game.
