Well, it has some good uses.
The hitbox that sends you upwards can lead into Up Air or the best choice, b-air. Side B can of course, be able to go through the stage quicker/recover to ledge.

No, Samus's Fair and FSmash were fixed, and FSmash was only "Fixed" to have an extremely weak hitbox in the middle instead of fixing how bad the base hitbox is. Her USmash was "Fixed in that instead of 1-1-1-8, it now does 3-3-3-5, but it still drops enemies after the first hit and trades with damn near everything, not to mention how terrible the hitballs are on it both above and below it. The first set of buffs marth received may have been valid, his tipper was fucking miniscule, but as for being bad, lmao no, he just wasn't as ridiculously disjointed as Brawl or Melee Marth. It's not like MetaKnight or Melee Kirby where they were absolute shit because of Sakurai's overzealous nerfs. He still had ridiculously early kills and decent aerial cancels, with insane ground move speed.
He also has received multiple patches worth of Buffs. Saying one update was necessary is potentially true. Saying he needed about 24 buffs over 3-4 patches is objectively wrong. And again, Lucina is still shit not because of her damage or speed, but because no tipper. She'll always be worse then Marth and Roy objectively in spite of their near identical neutral because of their kill potential. Marth can keep the mid range better and Roy has better rushdown. Marth has better rushdown too now though, so lmao. Can't wait until I can remove her from my game with mods.

I said addressed. They were all adjusted in some way, that doesn't mean it is to a satisfactory degree. Go back and check the data on Marth compared to the first patch. Yeah, he didn't have a disjoint a much but his landing lag and all of his attacks were unsafe. He can't combo now but he really had nothing to build damage or approach back then reliably.

Yeah, just don't worry about that. Losing just makes me motivated to analyse someone's playstyle harder and find flaws. I suggest you just study up on a character you really like and improve on general techs and proper spacing. You go for too many predictable moves (albeit, I still fell for them because I usually drop the spaghetti against retarded scenarios). For Link, you should only really try to go for dash attacks when someone messes up teching and you try to read their roll behind or if you land a fast-falled nair at around medium percents. Utilize bombs and boomerang more, those are vital for helping you space your follow ups.
