Crash is getting remakes of the original trilogy its nothing much but at least it's something even with Skylanders who cares? It sucks but at least it's not a full fledged game that will tarnish his name further. I know people want a new game but get what you can get.
GoW is a sad sight of a series trying to appeal to a wider audience despite its roots, they want to forget the 3 first ganes were of over-the-top violence and busty babes getting fucked.

Different Anon here. We've seen very little of it but I'm cautiously optimistic. They made five or six games in the old style and it was starting to wear thin. I'd say the IP has cooled enough that they can try a different paradigm. Worth seeing how it turns out.

Having actually played the other like 6 I felt that GoW was a little different in terms of pacing and fight tempo in general, we've only seen maybe two weapon sets counting the fists and from what I'm aware it looks as if it's more like Slower Souls/Character action combat. On top of maybe a better form of exploration ala Elder Scrolls or Dragons Dogma.
