Toggle or hold to crouch /v/?

Toggle

I'm used to holding buttons. Toggle is for controller babbies.

>I'm used to holding buttons.

That's because you are a pleb.

You won't be able to get away with hold to crouch in something like fucking ARMA, where you need to be able to push other buttons too.

Hold, always hold
>>
>>343587423
Both for different situations
>>
Hold with CTRL
Toggle with C

But wouldn't holding be inherently easier on a controller? Toggle makes sense on a keyboard when there are more options for keybinds.
>>
>>343587423

there's no advantage to hold
>>
more often than not, games that allow you to 'crouch' are ADS babby shit anyway, so I'm not sure what difference it makes

it slightly impairs your ability to move left or right, so toggle is generally better?

best method is uninstall

Not really. But that guy is a retard anyway.
>>
Depends on the game. In CS I'd say hold, but in squad/siege I toggle because I might need to lean while moving diagonally and that's just too many fucking buttons to bother with.

this

>>343587423
Hold as a reminder I'm still crouching
>>
>>343587423
Toggle = Automatic
Hold = Manual
>>
>>343587423
Depends on the game, if I'm using keyboard or controller, if the game is online or singleplayer and if it's fast-paced or slow-paced...
>>
>>343587423
Toggle for Stalker and hold for everything else
>>
It depends on the game but I like toggle more, frees up a finger for pushing other keys.
>>
Toggle in slow-paced games, hold in fast-paced games

>options menu has separate key bindings for toggle crouch and hold crouch
Ctrl for hold, C for toggle.
>>
Hold if I'm playing anything fast paced where I need to be able to crouch and uncrouch quickly.
Toggle in slow paced shit like Red Orchestra where I may need to stay crouched for a long time.

Hold for crouch and toggle for aiming down sights
>>
>>343588532
This. I use C to toggle crouch and ctrl to hold crouch in Planetside 2 depending on the situation.
