Building a gaming PC soon. 60hz or 144hz
TN or IPS panel?
What a retarded fucking question, why wouldn't you go for the higher refresh rate?
I may be the minority here, but 1080p 144hz <<<<<<1440p 60hz. I have a 1440 144hz monitor but I think I appreciate the 1440p more than the 144hz. It really depends on the games you're playing I think.
I can't think of a reason why you would go for 60hz over 144hz if the option is there.
Okay, what if I don't plan on playing fast paced competitive games? I only like single player games and some MMOs.

You'd still notice a difference.

Well shit, I shouldn't have bought this 60hz monitor. I'm a console gamer but I want to get a PC for gaming in the months ahead.
Fuck, guess I gotta buy another monitor...
>>343532763
Multiple monitor setup is the best anyway
>>343532763
If you already have a 60hz monitor, don't rush out to buy a 144hz one if you're happy with the 60.
True, you'd notice a difference at 144hz, but it's not going to ruin your games.

so my 60hz can still be of use as a secondary monitor not used for gaming?
>>343532426
bethesda games amirite?
>>343533024
Yes
they still fucking make TN panels?

thanks anon, I just feel sorta dumb. I should've thought of the future.
I got this 24inch 60hz for my ps4 and xb1 because that is all I play on at the moment.
I do admit my games looks a lot crisper!
But i will just buy a 144hz in the future. how much are they usually?
>>343532164
I choose 60.
But I also choose 40" and 4K resolution, so
>>343533107
yes. they have faster refresh rates
>>343532247
>he bought into the meme
first off it's not really noticable, second off you'll never hit 144 fps in any modern non-shit game
>>343534803
>b-b-b-but muh hearthstone 144hz
