My dad bought a N64 with Mario 64 for me at a 2nd hand market. It had no manual whatsoever. I booted it up and I didn't get it. I didn't know what to do (remember that this was my first game ever). I didn't understand and I was quite upset. My dad, who is still to this day a retard with technology, stayed up ALL night to figure out how to do play this so I could enjoy it the next day. God I miss him.

Super Mario world on the SNES, year 1999 I believe. It wasn't my console, it was at a friend's house. Frankly, I didn't like it. The next game I played was a year or so later on my PS1. It was Spyro 2 and I absolutely loved it.

Super Mario Bros on an eastern yuropoor NES clone I got as a present on my 5th birthday.
The first game I have proper memories of is playing Pokemon Stadium on N64 with my Dad.
I remember abusing the fuck out of Poliwhirl and putting him to sleep constantly and laughing my head off.
Poliwhirl is still my favourite pokemon because of it. I have an old plushie hidden away somewhere that he bought me.

Spyro the Dragon was the first one I popped in, but I got both that and Rugrats: Search for Reptar along with the console. Search for Reptar had some spooky fucking levels and I'm pretty sure it's what made me the bitch I am today with spooky levels and jumpscares

What you do is glide over to it from the stone floor next to the ice, headbash it when you're flying over the cracked part of the ice, and then you can get the gems.
