Huge crossover between players of SFIV and SFV, making the scheduling incredibly difficult.
In Smash this isn't as big of a problem, since the fanbase is very clearly divided into two areas: Meleefriends who will only play Melee, and the other guys who will move on to the next smash game when it comes out.

It's a party game played by autists who aren't potty trained. The last fighting game tournament had its pool party shut down because smash kiddies literally took a shit in the pool. Imagine having a board game convention with tournaments running different variations of chess and go, and then a bunch of kids who haven't showered in their lives show up and start playing hungry hungry hippo. i'm glad they're having fun, but they're mostly just taking up space and stinking up the venue.

He definitely deserves it, but it's kinda boring watching him destroy everyone any time he's at a tourney. Though Thompson also has a good chance at Evo. Tokido is playing KI now so it's kinda sad he's not gonna be playing KI at Evo.
