Lucios ultimate can tank pretty much anything. Widows ultimate can't go wrong. Tracers ultimate has no warning. Zaryas ultimate is the most complimentary.
Best AND Worst: Teleporter. It's either a game saver or completely worthless.
They should give everyone an alternate ultimate to pick from since so many of them are situational or underwhelming in comparison to others.

Generally speaking I'd say Widowmaker and Mercy are the best. Being able to see the other team/full revive is pretty damn strong.
Aside from those, Junkrat's is a pretty good fuck you on payload maps. Hanzo's is great for control maps, and Lucio's great as a response to other ultimates

Sound Barrier should be able to save a Roadhog from it if it's timed correctly and the Roadhog is at full health. Self Destruct does 1000 damage and with sound barrier Roadhog has 1100 health when it pops.
Best it does is move people 5 ft behind cover for 4 seconds and clears the area of turrets.

Out of all the strictly situational ults, his is among the best since he's constantly dealing with several enemies directly in his face. Works great for both offense/defense as well.
the ult of pharrah is very bad. you have to be massively exposed for it to work, and you can be interrupted by roadhog's hook. you should be invulnerable for a shot period of time

When discussing something it's generally better to refute the argument rather than making a blanket statement.
So if you take a situation like Gilbralter 4th checkpoint, and winston is on defense. The only way I could think that the ult would help here would be if you micro'ed hard enough to knock the enemy team into unfavorable positions, but if it's you against 5- 6 man bubble, you just gave away 2 free ults to the offense, and you get wasted by mei/reaper/pharah.
You can save the ult for a get outta jail free card, and you can kinda get people off the point with it, but if you see a reason as to why winston shouldn't be recognized as the worst ult, speak up.

Zenyatta is going to be a mainstay for a lot of teams, except not as a healer. His DPS is faster than anyone else, period. He counters Zarya, which is also huge, and can basically stop any tank cold with minimal effort. If you run Zen as healer, you lose. If you stay near your teammates and land headshots, you win.
He also has the best quotes in the game which goes a long way.
What is the most annoying character? I've been fighting against good Zaryas recently and I fucking hate her now.

There's a simple fix to Mercy's ult, too. Make them regen health based on how long it's active. If she revives completely and doesn't die, they have full health. If she dies or is stunned in the middle of the revive, they have less health. Easy fix.

Once again, Pharah by herself is useless. If you toss a Barrage at an enemy team that has nothing but you to worry about, they'll all turn their guns on you and you only have 200 HP.
Having an enemy team bundled together by Zarya's ult or distracted by a rampaging Winston/Torb will probably mean a triple or quadruple Barrage kill, because by the time they see the missiles they're already dead.
On top of that, having Mercy boost your ult is overkill of the highest order and you'll probably charge hers in the process too.

Let me tell you a little secret: larger characters have more HP and bigger hitboxes, which means more rockets hit them. Smaller characters have smaller hitboxes and less HP, which means they take very little to die.
Toss a Barrage on top of a tank and watch them die in one second flat.

Genji is the slayer of bad Bastions who think they can pump him full of bullets like everyone else.
Saw a guy that got 5 deflect kills in a single short match once. People just seem to think the notion of cease fire to be completely alien. They tie their fingers to the left mouse button with duct tape at the start of the match and only let go once the Defeat comes across the screen.
