To me they were okay in the early 2000s but from what I can tell the company has become a cash grab since about '08.

Fun Haus is like a better RT when RT was in their prime. Also, Elyse is better than any of the girls on RT, she's genuinely really funny without having to use some a fucking stupid shtick like the RT girls. She's also got a political science degree and chose to work in the field of video games instead of pursing a career path with her degree, she genuinely enjoys what she does.
The whole group pull their weight very evenly though, all funny and interesting while feeling sincere and unforced.

gonna add my 2cents on fun haus from this post.fun haus might shill now and again but they (usually) have good taste and will voice their opinions on a game without bias. and when they do payed lets plays they straight up tell their viewers at the very beginning of their videos.
when i was watching their e3 stream they each had differing opinions on games and didn't favor a certain company, they even shit all over the xbox portion of the show, unlike roosterteeth where they tried their hardest to be optimistic and feign excitement.
i might not be into roosterteeth or fun haus likemy brotherbut i really do respect the FH crew over the RT crew ten fold.

Roosterteeth have had a fairly interesting existence so far. All of their content has been hit or miss, but the hits have been huge. I remember when RvB blood gulch Chronicles were still coming out. Even back then, they had two other machima projects that were pretty bad, but rvb was a big enough success to propel them into the spotlight. And its really impressive what they were able to do with it, from early rvb DvD being sold at gamestop to getting bungies support and everything. Its a perfect analogue to their company as a whole. Their failures have been small and their successes huge.
Its kinda crazy that theyve gone from a one-hit wonder to having their own con, multiple youtube channels, multiple series, investors, the whole nine yards. They are definitely one of the early video content creator success stories, and I dont honestly know how i feel about it. Its almost like the tripped and somehow found themselves in this position, and are just running with it. I kinda love it, kinda hate it.But not as much as i hate what they did to RvB. The BGCs had a perfect, cyclical ending and it shouldve stayed that way.
