I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise that the comic book industry is crashing. I don't know what anybody expected, putting real world issues so hamfisted into stories and dialogue. It's one thing to use it as a basis for something like the X-men but another thing entirely to just outright call it what it is and be so transparent about where everybody stands or who the victor is.

That's because they don't really have an audience outside of people who used to buy comics when they were kids anymore. It's only going to get worse. Kids haven't actively bought comics in almost two decades and the comic industry is too clueless to figure out how to bring them back.
