>Those nikita missions
Fucking kill me fampai
MGS thread I guess
I'm emulating this one on my psp and whenever I want to load socom level 1 of weapon missions the game crashes.
Anybode had the same issue?

>Nikita missions
Just fuck my shit up familia

Damn, that and the VR missions in MGS2 Substance are the most fun I've had in vidya. I mean, game mechanics in these two are pretty good while in the main game but with absurd missions and situations of VR gameplay shines like a thousand la-li-lu-le-lo-ing suns.

Sorry, m8, I've been playing this on my PS1. Damn, it's been, like, 15 or 16 years. I rememeber playing it just to get to the Gray Fox missions yet most of the stuff before ninja was fun as fuck. Challenging too. And the Ninja Mode kicked ass. Fuck, you could JUMP and turn stealth on in expense of your lifebar! Too bad they didn't implement any of this stuff. The original Metal Gear SOLID Rising looked close enough, though.

What are the requirement for unlocking Gray Fox's missions?
>>343300578
Damn, I actually forgot. Not that you've mentioned it, this unlock came up quite unexpected. I rememeber booting up my game as ususal and OH, SHIT, FOX OPENED UP HIS HELMET ON THE TITLE SCREEN!. And then there was a Ninja Mode available. I think you just need to get a certain completion percentage, just like with any other mode in the game. Just keep playing. You can even avoid missions you don't like at first - there'll still be something fun to complete that, in turn, will lead to unlocking even more stuff.
>Play VR missions as a kid
>So fucking hyped to unlocked GF missions
>Finally get them
>Disappointing as fuck
Damn

Alright, thanks. I just hope the weapon mode socom missions won't prevent me from unlocking important stuff and let's just hope the game won't crash on me on other missions.
Anyway, yeah, the game is a lot of fun, can't believe I missed out on it, just pure mechanic trials that are short enough to not be frustrating if you fuck up. Seriously considering getting the Substance version of 2.

>psp
there's your problem bro, i guess.
>>343295896
>advertise Gray Fox on the cover
>he's only playable in 3 of the hundreds of missions
Gee thanks Konami.
>mfw cheesing Wolf bossfight by spamming her with nikitas

>emulating ps1 on psp
> gray fox missions
> murder mystery missions
Fun
>tfw have this on disc
>1 mission remaining to 100%, 1 frame dodge roll to avoid guard, couldn't do it, youtube didn't even exist back then
JUST.
MGS2 vr is literally harder than anything else in the series.
>>343303383
thank god I thought I was just shit at the game
well I AM shit but still good to know these are actually hard
>>343303637
Sneaking mode = pretty easy. Standard stuff. A few are hard for MGS1 Snake.
Weapon mode = a slog. Some nikita and grenade levels are tricky.
Variety mode = Hell on earth
First person mode = random and useless, but not too bad difficulty wise
Elimination mode = easy, except for one in MGS1 Snake mode where you have no pentazamin and have to snipe a guard
Hold up mode = Hell on earth
Bomb Disposal mode = fucking amazingly fun
Photography mode = very fun, but very few missions

>Sneaking mode = pretty easy
it seems that there is a long road ahead of me

What's wrong with that? It's pretty cool playing classics on a handheld and I've never had any problems with ps1 titles up to now.
I loved detective missions

I just remember all of the final grenade levels when you're on the tall center platform being awful.
