What are the best games to play on dolphin?
I'd say any Wii game really. Especially considering that you can actually connect a Wiimote to Dolphin which is great. As for Gamecube games, I'm not really sure. Wouldn't recommend playing SSBM on it though.

You just download zadig, plug the adapter into your computer and then selected GC adapter in the menu for controllers and bam, you're playing on your computer with a GC controller.

Does the GameCube version of Twilight Princess crash for you guys? I've tried playing it on a different version but it keeps crashing after I get through the intro and input the names and shit.

yeah. my xbone controller randomly disconnects on me as well. i hear that usb disconnect windows tone every now and then.
this is the first time ive used my xbone controller on my pc so not sure if this is only an issue when using dolphin.

everytime i play ttyd on dolphin i get to rogueport, go to the back where the view of the town switches and walk around, my game always noticeable studders or loses a bit of frame rate, like it snot smooth. so i dont play anymore.

Google a settings file for it. There's plenty. What I found is that you'll have to sometimes reassign your controls to get through a minigame.

I haven't compared them myself but I hear the GC version is better than the PS2 version. If you get hit detection issues on Dolphin just go to Graphics/General and and choose the OpenGL backend. Dolphin works perfectly for me.

Yes, IIRC you don't need to actually install anything, just extract from the folder and click on the EXE. You don't even need to download a BIOS like some emus.

I just got Twilight Princess working and holy shit the framerate is awful. The moment I stepped outta the starting village to go chase the kid and the monkey, the framerate went to absolute dogshit. It could just be that area, but it's the ENTIRE AREA from the guy who gives you the lantern on into the cave 'n' shit as well. No way i'm dealing with that.

IIRC, if you right click the game and go to properties then patches, there should be a speed hack specifically for twilight princess. Make sure it's checked.

It's definitely not a good game. I made a little video out of the glitches and bugs I ran into in a recent playthrough. I show the final boss at 4:22, just a heads up if you didn't want to see that. Maybe worth a try just to witness firsthand how broken it is, like Sonic '06.
