I'm not giving them my damn phone number or downloading their stupid mobile app so the hold features basically make the whole event even more pointless.
If i don't finish the badge via discover i'll just fully stop bothering with the cards (I don't even really care it's just mostly a busywork task to amuse me/was a way to make some use of leftover wallet money.)
