But in AVP 1 & 2 aliens were actually fast and could rip your shit apart. Other series mostly copied stuff like guns, and nowadays all you get is on rails shooters with human enemies. I never get the feeling I did when the motion tracker starts going off and those fuckers are coming at me at light speed anymore.
My major problem is that FPS doesn't challenge with enemy or level design anymore. Enemies don't feel dangerous anymore like xenomorphs in AVP2 or Archviles did. Nothing to really make you sweat. I heard nudoom was good but I'm waiting on that.
