Fallout 4 was meh to me. MGS V was overrated and incomplete. Best game of 2015 so far in my mind goes to Bloodborne. Currently playing the Witcher 3 and enjoying it. So far it doesn't seem to have the wow factor that Bloodborne did for me though. Maybe it will get better.

Honestly, by Blood and Wine the repetitiveness of the quests become readily apparent. I would say that a significant portion of the game is padding, but there is definitely enough real content to warrant a must play through the main quests and some big side quests at the $60 price.

I fucking suck at this game. At about level 4 right now. stupid question from a stupid man: everytime you level up, do you gain any sort of natural "bonus", ie strength/HP? or is growing as a character all up to you, the gamer, to not be stupid (pick the right perks, craft the right shit, etc).

leveling does increase your base stats by a small amount. But majority of your strength is going to come from perks and gear. Just do side quests, witcher contracts, loot fucking everything you can see glowing with your witcher senses. You'll find good shit in random spots. As for perks, I highly recommend going for swordplay first, boost the strength of your light attacks, heavy attacks are almost never needed.

I spent over 100 hours on the base game alone, but I did everything but question mark hunting.
Haven't mustered the will to do a second playthrough for the DLCs though. I would highly recommend doing a playthrough with them included. The game just doesn't have much replay value.

I avoided playing this game for a long time, even though I enjoyed the 2nd game.
I wanted to upgrade my computer before I played it. But I've been full on jaded gamer not wanting to play any of the games I have lately, and this game honestly pulled me out of it.
I just finished the baron arc and have started working on stuff in and around novigrad. I have put probably 40 hours into the game so far and I'm level 12, and it still feels like I've barely begun to scratch the surface.
I love the game but I'm starting to notice some things that are rankling me. The first is the armor designs. All the "good" armor I've found so far is butt ugly. The second is, it's starting to get a little repetitive with the witcher sense aspecr of things. The third is, I like the main story and secondary story quests because they are really well done and make the world seem alive and huge, but all the other quests just feel like filler, even the witcher contracts basically boil down to "interview contract giver, go to site of attack, use witcher senses to track monster, kill monster".
Overall I would give it an 11/10 it's ok so far.

I think the story does take you back to Novigrad after doing some stuff in Skellige. It's supposed to be Velen-Novigrad-Skellige-Novigrad-Skellige-Velen-KM-End or something like that.
However, you can do things out of order, so you may have completed these things already.
If you have completed all plots involving Radovid/Dijkstra/general politics of the area, you have already done the endgame content, I think.

I agree. A game doesn't need gratuitous nudity to try and sell. It should do so for its own merits. Games that do are just shitty piece of commercializations that obviously cannot stand on its own and must resort to pandering to horny consumers in order to sell. This game is garbage and the fact that it is even a candidate for GOTY is what is wrong with the industry. When we can finally include everybody into the fold without making anyone feel uncomfortable or left out is when we can finally say the medium has evolved beyond the playthings of a child.
