A fresh new perspective for an aging franchise. Sure it still had actiony bits, but it managed to keep the atmosphere and spook factor high. Something RE5 and 6 was lacking.

I cannot fucking stand playing Fallout 2. Fallout and Fallout New Vegas are some of my favorite games but I just cannot play 2 for some reason.
It's not really universally liked on /v/ but Oblivion is dog shit. If you want dumb action exploring play skyrim, if you want a good RPG play morrowind, please never play oblivion because it chugs ass at both. The gameplay is practically unbearable and in my opinion the combat is way worse than either skyrim or morrowind.

The story twist is that the "stuff you just saw didn't actually happen crap" and the gameplay revolves around one hit deaths and short checkpoints. Not hard at all due to the always close checkpoints but frustrating when you die to the random AI. Also the game is short, it only took me 4 hours to beat the game and I play through games slowly.
Only good aspect of this game is the 80s theme.
