Are gaming chairs worth it?
I'm looking into a good chair I can sit for 8+ hours a day in. A chair that keeps me upright and focussed. I was thinking normal office chair but office chairs are a bit cheapass I think and not really designed for gaming. I'm asking this because my local PC store has these on sale for €299,99 and i'm wondering if it's worth the upgrade and if i'm gonna play better

The one I bought is pretty damn good.
Their design is shit, the wings are retarded I had to find one that does not have those on the seating.
But the functionality and quality delivered.
Considering the only alternatives would be office chairs at 4-500€ (this was 400€) with less functions I'm glad I gone with it.
If you are willing to spend the extra money - but not willing to spend the extreme prices of actually good office chairs I think it can be a good middle ground.

My back support died on my old office chair so i used pillows for a year before buying new one because i was cheap which fucked my back up a bit.
Don't skimp out on a good chair but be vary of gaming products, if you can get it for a good price then go for it but always compare prices and brand vs quality.

Executive chairs are really bad for you, which is why they recommend not spending more than 2-4 hours in them. Most high end executive chairs ($3000+) actually have task chair designs. Task chairs are designed for 8+ hours of sitting. Those 'executive' chairs you get at department stores with all the levers and buzzwords like 'lumbar support' are all gimmicks, simply put.

I actually did this with an old racing seat on an office chair stand with a custom made cushion. It's immensely comfortable and since the basis for the racing seat was all aluminum it's sturdy as hell. Only cost me about $100 in the end for all the materials.
Memes aside, I am actually looking for a nice chair to go with the new computer I'm building in a week. I was checking around goodwill because my friend managed to get a pretty godtier chair for three bucks at one around here. I couldn't find one but I'm going to check another used furniture store. Chairs online are expensive as fuck but I'd appreciate a recommendation.
