World of Final Fantasy. Basic monster catching it seems with growth and shrinking mechanic. Where if you are normal size you do more damage but if your small/chibi you can stack monsters to do higher level spells. At least that's what I think is happening.

KH1 has the excuse of being an early 3D ARPG, coming off the heels of games like Brave Fencer Musashi.
Chain of Memories has the GBA's limitations to account for.
The rest? Not so much. By the time 2 rolled out the standards for action games and action RPGs were way higher, but the combat and level design have been lackluster since then.

Is buttz in the game? I saw faris ad figure that she will fill the ff5 role since the main cast doesnt have much to differentiate from each other. If they aren and arent going by metagame roles for characters, then faris wil be a pirate, and bartz will return to his mime role in dissidia but I doubt it since quintis may replace the mime with blue mage.

Yeah I know, but from a gameplay perspective, mime probably wont be implemented since its a endgame ability most of the time. The only way to introduce mime early is to let it take up the role of blue mage in addition but since quintis exists... Still, if character cameos are not directly related to their relevance to the plot, then we can see faces like these regardless to when you can acquire them. We can get all the popular 'guys with swords' this way without having to shoehorn them in so that is likely the route this game is going for

KH1's system was actually better than following games though. Being able to deflect projects with timed swings, countering with blocks, etc. All of them rewarded you, and also gave bonus EXP.
KH2 dumbed everything down to a spam-fest and "Press X (Triangle) to not die."

I dont like these chibi models for the reason that they cannot provide a wider range of emotion past empathy, tired, and slightly angered. I think they shot themselves in the foot for trying to make their own unique cutesy style models that cannot provide that emotional range.
