The game is still what I was looking forward to. Combat is serviceable, I get to see my favorite FF monsters fully modeled with actual behaviors and attacks, I get to use my favorite FF weapons in real time, and I get to enjoy a fun roadtrip with bros.
It's going to be a solid game, likely an 7-8/10. It's the only game where I get to fight like a dragoon would with mid-air spear combos and jump attacks, so I'm certainly picking it up no matter how hard /v/ lambastes it.
