Did anyone else feel very sad when this game ended? I've legitimately never encountered a game with such an entertaining lore/world/roleplaying. Closest that comes is Deus Ex, mostly because they share a similar hub structure.
Malkavs, Tremere and Nossies awesome as fuark.
Gangrel, Giovanni, and Lasomra all good.
Toreador and Ventrue, truly the most boring ones.

Gangrel is kinda my fav, haven't played Malkavian but it seems the most fun dialogue wise. Ventrue was my first playthrough and it's really fun getting people to basically do whatever you want.

I'm almost positive this is a change brought on by wesps unofficial patch.
The thing is, Lacroix was going to give you keys to the front door of the museum, yet the player starts in an area obviously not the entrance. So to fix this oversight, I believe wesp changed it so you deny the keys. Honestly a completely unnecessary and stupid change, but wesp did that shit a lot. I swear he changed shit just so he'd have a reason to release the next version to revert back.

The end game had it's moments.
Fighting your way to the Cab Driver through various other Vampires out for your blood was pretty fun for me, and storming LaCroix's tower had a few really awesome moments as well. The Chinatown compound dragged on a bit though, and the fight with Ming Xiao was admittedly lame.

For me personally, it was the Claw and Blade brothers. Ming Xiao was downright borderline fucking hard as well. It took me hours to realize that you can overwhelm her for a second by shooting at her tentacles right when she's about to bitchslap you with it, but that doesn't change the fact that she can absorb more a thousand bullets with no problem. It's one of those "if you don't bring enough ammunition and blood packs, the fun ends here" boss.

I like Gangrel cause I honestly prefer rural areas over cities, and I think Protean is an amazing discipline with really fun and useful powers. And to be perfectly honest, if I lived in the World of Darkness and was a vampire, I think I'd mostly try to avoid most other vampires and stay the fuck out of politics, much like your average Gangrel I suppose.

Vampires gain a bunch of power instantly and can accumulate more through age and cannibalization. But as the power grows so does the hunger, and eventually they'll cap out.
Where vampires are limited, mages are not. Mages are pretty much at the top of the power scale under things like True Fae which are absolute bullshit. Vampires are stuck saddling tier 2 and 3. They're really weak even at their strongest, and the end-time scenarios only work in contained VtM because the antediluvians would have their shit wrecked in a unified universe.

As a gangrel stick to meele, especially fist, and use protean frequently, also upgrade it. Upgrade meele and fortitude if you need it, speech is also not bad if you wanna upgrade persuasion stuff, also secrurity for lock picking and upgrade hacking
