Personally speaking, I loved the game and hated the previous version. Then again, I play games for entertainment rather than challenge.
I played hollow fragment and enjoyed it enough, found it to fix alot of the shit I hated in the original anime. I doubt I would try the other games out though unless they are fucking flawless.

The game as a sense of humor if nothing else. Spend too long in dungeons and your friends will send you messages basically telling you to stop being a suicidal asswipe. Overall I found it better then the anime itself.

The combat in hollow fragment is actually pretty good, atleast when your fighting stuff thats a way higher lvl then you, besides that its just spamming special attacks since they don't cost sp and restore hilariously fast.
