In TLoU you could sprint to the end and skip walking segments. Not so in Metro. And TLoU has collectibles that unlock bonus content and backstory. Not so with Metro either.

Yes, first one is like virginal sex, messy but inspiring. Second one is like making love to your spouse, routine but still uniquely admirable. Basically they're good for a playthrough or two.

No third weapon, some monsters changed for the worse, uses Last Light HUD which I personally found annoying, and most importantly the lighting changed which ruined a lot of the atmosphere that 2033 had.
