We've had these threads, half of the people are appalled by it, the other half praise it like it's the greatest thing since sliced pussy. I use it for souls games and nothing else.

I use it sometimes when I play halo or any shooter on xbox. Playstation controllers don't really warrant the use of the claw for me even though wrist to tip of middle finger is about 10"

Why would you use it outside of PSP and 3DS games?
I tried to use it for Halo 2 back when I was in high school. Felt too weird and different to stick with it

That's why there are four buttons on top of the controller.
I feel I tend to only claw when playing Gears of War. Any other game I don't really notice myself doing it.

It's an acceptable solution when the game mechanics are too complex for a regular grip. Not preferrable, but acceptable.

I only used to do it with original xbox controller, which only had 2 triggers. But the bumpers and triggers are not enough control anyway. Every game uses the face buttons for /something/ important, like jumping or punching

They should release a version of the Elite controller that dumps all the customization BS but keeps those back bumpers.
Could possibly shave off $50 and for $100 that thing would be worth it imo. Pretty much everyone that's used one loves it.
