Can /v/ help explain this to me? So in the God of War series, Kratos' mother, father, and brother are all white/tanned. Yet he appears black before the ashes and some fans even claim he's black because he has a black voice actor. Not saying voice actors determine the race of characters, but still something worth mentioning. Was this a mistake on the developer's end or was he black for the sake of being black? Because it doesn't make sense that his biological family were white.

They're in the Caucasian/white category. Just so you know whites can have olive-skin too. Not all have to be pale. Also the sun in the Mediterranean does play a factor in darker skin tones.

He was olive skinned in that dark cutscene. Other greek men in the game had the same fucking complexion.
