Working on the Great Wall, some third-world country builds it one turn before I can complete it. The game instantly transfers thousands of shields into common building. The next turn I learn a new wonder.
Does no one else find Arabia far too OP?
In 50 turns I almost always have around 6k gold

>just let it happen and bum rush him with angry Aztecs as soon as I think he has enough wonders
>all those free wonders I didn't have to build
are wonders even worth building?
>raging barbarians selected in a modded game that makes barbarians stronger

In Civilization 3, building the Great Library allowed you to instantly learn technology if two or more countries have already learned it. You then seek every nation in the world, while never learning education.
The problem is that the game catches on, and the result is everyone magically becoming more advanced than you, when you were considered advanced a couple turns before.

All wonders are nice to have, but I think the biggest influence/gap creator comes from great library/oracle rush. I'm no problem though so I could be wrong.

great library sets you so far back though because you don't get to build a settler in that time
Oracle is much bigger because it's during the transition between early and mid game and ai doesn't normally rush it
> be venice
> pay other nations to go to war for my benefit
> if one nation gets too strong, pay all civs to go to war against him
hehehe stupid goyim
