My biggest problem was how the later seasons clash so much in tone with the early ones and how they kept trying to keep it comedic through all the grimdark. One of the early seasons ended with Church getting killed and coming back as a ghost and there was an evil AI hopping from suit to suit being a dick.
The serious grimdark seasons end with you finding out Church was never a ghost but part of an AI that was tortured until it formed multiple personalities as part of a military experiment to make supersoldiers with AI suits. Also Tex was never alive but was a different AI created by the Director because he wanted to bring his dead gf back to life but he never could make it perfect so he kept making more and more until he ultimately gives up and blows his own brains out.

Allegedly Barb and Arryn went on vacation together and Arryn was uncomfortably clingy and affectionate the whole time. She then confessed she had longstanding romantic feelings for Barb. This was shortly before the breakup and people think Barb's rejection of her feelings is part of what spurred her to run away to halfway across the country.
