I'd like to take a minute to talk about Big Lincoln.
Big Lincoln is really one of the best bosses of any game, not necessarily because of his character or the fight itself, although the fight itself is good. It is because of the atmosphere and tension that is built from the outset.
While there are a few lackeys on the run up to the boss, there's nowhere near the amount that there is for other bosses, and there's really no exposition from them as to what to expect from the boss.
On the run up to him, there's many, many gravestones, then dark rooms, and a man in a wolf mask who is going to fuck you up.
That's it.
And that's fucking great.
